Shirley Ann Amshoff, 85, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
She was born in April 17, 1931 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Maurice and Anne (Hildebrand) Minor.
Shirley was a 1948 graduate of Hughes High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. She worked as an office technician at Cincinnati Incorporated, was a volunteer at Highland District Hospital for 27 years, and was a volunteer and top fundraiser for the Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Paul Amshoff; five siblings, Russell, Anne, Kenneth, Thelma and Ruth Armour.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Father Mike Paranuik will be celebrant. Burial will follow at St Mary Catholic Cemetery.
