Shelvie J. (Stillwell) Tanner, 82, of Port William, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Autumn Years Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sabina.
She was born Dec. 18, 1937, the daughter of the late Delbert Larkin Stillwell and Eva Addalea Lyle Stillwell.
She was a member of the Port William Church and the Port William-Lumberton Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Tanner, whom she married Aug. 8, 1956; daughters, Vera Ann Scott and Rhea Jean (Clint Hackney) Tyree; son, Delbert Ray (Deneva) Tanner; nine grandchildren, Cristina A. Scott, Eric Tyree, Trent Vickers, William Vickers, Jason Vickers, Stephanie Vickers, Jacob Hackney, Cortney Hackney and Sierra Tanner; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at New Maple Grove Cemetery, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 1 p.m.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
