Sharon Kay “Sherry” Bradley, 53, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 7, 2021 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center inside the Adams County Medical Center in Seaman.
She was born Aug. 14, 1967 in Adams County, the daughter of the late Otis and Elizabeth (Setty) Nesbitt.
Sherry was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved taking care of her flowers and animals, especially her cat “Pebbles,” who will miss her greatly. She enjoyed helping her father-in-law and was always faithful to call and wish a family member a happy birthday. Never one to complain, she always took care of others before herself.
On April 23, 1994 in New Carlisle, she married her husband of 27 years, Carl Eugene Bradley, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Nicole Bradley; her father-in-law, Carl S. (Phyllis Turner) Bradley of Lynchburg; nine siblings, Russell Nesbit, Judy (Jeff) King and Richard Nesbitt, all of West Union, Dennis (Tawna) Nesbitt of Stout, Michael Lane of West Union, Betty (Stephen) McBee of Peebles, James (Kayla) Nesbitt of Blue Creek, Jennifer (Monte) Bayless of Hillsboro and Peggy Nesbitt of Beavercreek; two sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Slivinski and Kim Bradley, both of Dayton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Nesbitt; two brothers, Robert Lee Nesbitt and Kenneth Dean Nesbitt; and her mother-in-law, Frances Bradley.
A funeral service for Sherry will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Jeff Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
