Sharon Kay Fisher, 69, of Blanchester, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at The Laurels of Blanchester.

She was born Oct. 13, 1951 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the daughter of Neal B. Milner and Helen E. DeBoard Milner.

She was a graduate of Clinton-Massie High School in the class of 1969 and graduated from Southern State Community College, magna cum laude, with an associate's degree. Sharon was a longtime softball coach and had managed the Western Brown Girls Softball Association as well as the Western Brown Band Boosters for several years. She was a member of Villars Chapel United Methodist Church and had worked at Clermont Mercy Hospital as a medical registrar for many years.

Surviving are her son, Bryan (Marilin) Fisher; a daughter, Shara (Robert Haynie) Cox; five grandchildren, Chelsi Fisher, Sheridan (Anthony) Danato, Sydni (SSgt. Tyler) Daniels, Jayna Florence and Phoebe Haynie; three great-grandchildren, Zayden and Nea Danato and Vincent Coogan; mother and stepfather, Helen and Joe Smithson; sisters, Joetta Smithson, Cynthia (Jerry) Merriman and Lorna Jean (Mack) Kiser; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Neal B. Milner; and her sister, Denise E. Ailshire.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Saturday, July 17 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, on Friday, July 16 from 5-7 p.m.
