Sharon K. Webb

Sharon K. Webb, 78, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1948, at home in the North Union community, the daughter of the late Richard Williams and Virginia (Davis) Williams.

Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Belfast High School, where she proudly graduated as valedictorian. She spent many years working in the medical billing field, working alongside Dr. Paul Terrell. Dr. Michael Strickland and Dr. Paul Schreibman. She later worked for many years with Dr. Lawley and Dr. Aschi at their urology office before retiring.

Sharon was a faithful member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, where her faith was an important part of her life. She also was a longtime member of the Hillsboro Order of the Eastern Star 441. Sharon found great meaning in her faith, her friendships, and the organizations that allowed her to be involved in her community.

A talented and accomplished seamstress, Sharon enjoyed sharing her knowledge and skills with others. She taught her daughters and granddaughters how to sew and also served as a 4-H advisor, teaching and encouraging the young people she worked with. She took great pride in watching others learn, grow, and discover talents of their own.

Sharon enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially reading and playing cards with family and friends. In her younger years, she and her late husband, Clayton, enjoyed attending tractor pulls together. These memories, along with countless others made throughout the years, will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Above all, Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved her family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by the people she cared for. Her kindness, strength, faith, and willingness to share her time and talents with others made a lasting impression on many lives.

Sharon is survived by her children, April (Jim) Davis, Cheryl (Scott) Higham, Robert Webb, and Ruth (Nathen) Ryan; grandchildren, Jordan (Jared) Morrison, Taylor (Matt West) Davis, Dallas (Becca) Puckett, Levi (Baylee Bagford) Mootz, Allison Mootz, T.J.
