Sandy Frost, 56, of the Sugartree Ridge community, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 at her home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1962 in Fleming County, Ky., the daughter of the late William and Ruby Ishmael.
Sandy graduated from Eastern High School in 1980. She had worked at the Highland County Sheriff’s Office for 14 years, where she was a corporal. Sandy had also worked at the Hillsboro City Schools as a teacher’s aide.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald "Junior" Frost, whom she married in November 1985; daughter, Dawnelle Frost of Cincinnati; two sons, Brad (Erica Baker) Frost of Jamestown and Craig (Brittney) Ishmael of Georgetown; grandson, Braxton Troy Frost; two brothers, Randy Ishmael and Billy Ishmael; two sisters, Brenda Ishmael and Crystal Biglow; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 with Pastor Dan Knisley officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
