Sandra K. Garrison, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Charleston, W.Va., the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Woosck) Rice.
Sandra was a 1958 graduate of Sinking Spring High School. She retired from Bundy Tubing in Washington C.H. and was formerly employed by The Greenfield Daily Times.
She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington.
She is survived by two daughters, Deidra (Roger) Rohde of Greenfield and Leta Garrison (Lance) of Greenfield; two sons, Tony Garrison of Greenfield and Tyler Garrison of Sinking Spring; six grandchildren, Seth Garrison (Christie), Breah (Kevin) Mitchell, Corey Miller (Sam), Mackenzie Garrison, Reid Garrison and Lacie Buckner; five great-grandchildren, Allara (Josh), Cade, Isaac, Cheree and Alayna; two great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty McDaniels of Hillsboro, GerryLynn Jones of Hillsboro and Patricia (Jim) Morgan of Allensburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Keithie McDaniels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Garrison on Aug. 21, 2021; one sister, Judy Smith; one aunt, Mary Lou Thomas; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating, followed by cremation.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
