Ryan K. Hughes, 46, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at Christ Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1975 in Wilmington, the son of Ricky Keith Hughes and Deborah Ann Hottinger Hughes.
Ryan was a member of Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. He loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors. Ryan's greatest joy was spending time with his family and making everyone laugh.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jessica Hughes, whom he married Feb. 25, 2017; parents, Rick and Debbie Hughes; five children, Cheyenne (Peter) Boakye, Ryan Obie "Paul" Hughes, Dalton Hampton, Katie Hampton and Kylee Ely; three sisters, Sarah Hughes, Kari (Dustin) Malone and Kelly (Ryan) Butsch; mother-in-law, Jeanette Cox; father-in-law, Jim (Twana) Camp; brother-in-law, Rance Ely; sister-in-law, Teara Camp; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Obie and Margaret Hughes; maternal grandparents, Betty and John Srofe; maternal grandfather, Bren Hottinger; and two brothers-in-law, Ryan Ely and Matt Stiffler.
Services will be held at Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230 US Hwy 50, Hillsboro, on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Interment will follow in the Hardin's Creek Cemetery, Bridges, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the church on Monday from noon - 2 p.m.
