Ruth Elizabeth Bristley, 100, of South Salem, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 at her home.
She was born May 4, 1918 in Anderson Station in Ross County, the daughter of Morris and Essie (Vanscoy) Anderson.
She was a member of the Buckskin Community Church and retired from Greenfield Printing in 1980, where she served as a bookkeeper. She was a 1935 graduate of Buckskin Valley High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Nicolosi of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Robert Bristley and James (Pam) Bristley, both of South Salem; two grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kate) Nicolosi of Atlanta, Ga. and Gianna Guthrie of Nashville, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Elaine, Emma Kate and Robert Joseph Nicolosi and Robert Guthrie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bristley, who passed away April 26, 1980; two sisters, Marjorie Holloway and Dorothy Storts; one brother, Willard Anderson; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at the Buckskin Community Church in South Salem with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the church.
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
