Roy Eugene Whitt, 55, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 19, 1962 in Dayton.
Mr. Whitt was a sales representative for Quality Craft Tools and a member of the Touchpoint Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gravatte Whitt; four children, Dylan (Mariah Roades) Whitt, Derek Whitt of Hillsboro, David (Diana) Whitt of Newton Grove, N.C. and Danielle (Rob) Varno of Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren; parents, Phyllis and Calvin Whitt of Hillsboro; one brother, DeWayne (Tamara) Whitt of Hillsboro; two sisters, Calvilon (Jamie) Wiseman of DeGraff and Belinda Whitt of Hillsboro; three brothers-in-law, David Gravatte of Louisville, Ky., Tony (Lori) Gravatte of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Mark Gravatte of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister-in-law, Lisa Duvall of Louisville, Ky.; a special niece, Joylee (Brian) Haines of Mt. Orab; and several additional nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vester and Katherine Whitt; and maternal grandmother, Edith Lewis.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor John Worley will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Touchpoint Pentecostal Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 82, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the Boyd Cancer Center, 31 Farquhar Avenue, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Boyd Cancer Center for all of their love and care given to Roy and his family during this difficult time. It was greatly appreciated.
