Rosetta Morris

Rosetta Morris, 73, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 6, 2023 at home.
 
She was born Dec. 13, 1949 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Lowell and Delsie Agnes Stethem. 

On Dec. 20, 1969 in Hillsboro, she married John Morris Jr., who passed away in September 2020.

A 1967 McClain High School graduate, Rosetta loved the Lord with her whole soul, loved animals and spending time with her kitties and enjoyed gospel music.

Surviving are her daughter, Janice (Bill) Kincaid of Maryville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Jason Lamp of Knoxville, Tenn. and Madison Lamp of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald and Larry Dick, both of Hillsboro; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Rosetta was preceded in death by her siblings, Norma Yoakum, Charles Dick, Diane Kibler and Harold Dick.
 
Memorial services will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro with Pastor Clay Self officiating. Interment will follow in the Roades Cemetery, Paint Township, Highland County.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home.
