Rose M. Cooper
Rose M. Cooper, 84, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 at The Laurels of Blanchester.
She was born April 20, 1938 in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of the late Herman at Rosetta (Day) Jacobi.
On Feb. 13, 1975, she married Owen L. “Buck” Cooper, who passed away July 11, 2018.
Graham Cracker had worked as a reporter for the Wilmington News Journal, the Greenfield Daily Times and the Blanchester Star-Republican.
Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Wilson of Alabama; son, Dale (Trina) Cooper of Xenia; grandchildren, Robert Burns, Amanda Houseman, Jessica Wilson, Tori Moore, Amanda Cooper, A.J. Cooper, Logan Cooper, Jamie (Bruce) Lisk, China Morgan, Allie Morgan and Zach Morgan; great-grandchildren, Meygan Burns, Aaron Houseman, Kaden Houseman, Raul Houseman, Andrew Houseman, Kristian Houseman, Jeremiah Houseman, Haylee Riehle, Nate Cooper, Jordan Houseman, Joseph Wilson, Isabell Wilson, Ceclia Wilson and Theodore Knisley III; sisters, Mildred Kruer of Floyds Knobs, Ind. and Mary Ann Hughes of Floyds Knobs, Ind.; brothers, Paul Jacobi of Lanesville, Ind., Raymond Jacobi of Floyds Knobs, Ind. and Norbert Jacobi of Corydon, Ind.
In addition to her parents and husband, Graham Cracker was preceded in death by her son, James Cooper; and granddaughter, Cari Ann Cooper.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 421 East Vine Street at Prairie Avenue, Wilmington, with Pastor Joel Richter officiating. Special organist will be Mrs. Tammy Maynard. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 18 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
