Ronald L. Shuemake, 76, of Rainsboro, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born Sept. 12, 1945 in Williamsburg, the son of the late Benny and Loretta (Pierce) Shuemake.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by five children, Kimberly (Kenneth) Sturgeon of Rainsboro, Randy Shuemake of Rainsboro, John (Cindy Hamm) Shuemake of Hillsboro and Amy Shuemake and Kelly Shuemake, both of Rainsboro; five grandchildren, Kassie Sturgeon, Dustin Shuemake, Shelby Shuemake, Kiaira Shuemake and Katrina Lorraine Sturgeon; one sister, Susan Traylor of Mt. Orab; four brothers, Charles Shuemake of Mt. Orab, Benny Shuemake of Williamsburg, Howard Shuemake of Mt. Orab and Walter (Diana) Shuemake of Hamersville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 52 years, Fern Lorraine (Studer) Shuemake; and a brother, Jack Shuemake.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. There will be no visitation.
