Ronald G. Truman, 65, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born April 10, 1954 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Windsor A. and Betty (McClure) Truman.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked in construction.
He is survived by his life companion, Cathy Sammons; seven children, Tammy (Lewis) Hesler, Tonya (Rich) Shepherd, James (Tianna) Sammons, Chris (Beth) Sammons, Jeff (Debra) Sammons, Jo (Steve) Stapleton and Mary (Kenny) Nelson; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Rick (Angie) Truman, Randy (Leah) Truman, Marvin Truman and Sylvia (Dan) Music; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
There will be no services observed. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home of Hillsboro is serving the family.
