Ronald Franklin Howell

Ronald Franklin Howell, 77, of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 in Indiana.

He was born Aug. 15, 1947 in Cincinnati the son of the late Frank and Marcella Whitham Howell.

Ronnie was a retired truck driver who had been active with the Boy Scouts of America and the Lions Club International. He had graduated from Wilmington College with two master’s degrees.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Howell; one daughter, Justine Howell Hunt of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Adian Howell and Nathaniel Hunt; and one brother and sister-in-law, Donnie F. “Chow” and Sherryl Howell of Lynchburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Gates Kern Howell.

Ronnie’s family, in honoring his wishes, will not be observing any services.
