Ron Davis, 72, of West Union, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.  
 
He was born Feb. 27, 1950 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Lewis Edward Davis and Thelma Mae King Davis.
 
Surviving are his eight children, Ronnie Davis, Tammy Davis, Janie Davis, Rodney Davis, Hollie Davis, Donald W. Davis, Penny Davis and Betty Jo Davis; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Emerson Davis; and two sisters, Marie Brodess and Lillian Click.
 
In addition to his parents,  Ron was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Hugh and Marvin Davis; and a sister, Geneva Sattler.
 
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery. The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
