Roger Lee Maines

Roger Lee Maines, 68, of Hillsboro died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 at his home.
He was born Oct. 5, 1947 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Clyde and Genevieve Teeters Maines.
Roger and his brother, Harley, owned and operated Clyde Maines & Sons Tin Shop in Hillsboro.
He is survived by his fiancée, Peggy Hawk, of Lynchburg; one brother, Harley (Patty) Maines of Hillsboro; two nephews, Jeff (Ginger) Maines of Streetsboro and Jason Maines of Hillsboro; and special friends, Debbie Hudson of Hillsboro and Chris Toller of Lynchburg; and by his many many friends at Frisch’s and Bob Evans.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Bob Hottle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45133 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
The family would also like to extend their appreciation and thanks to Dr. Gina Melink and her staff for the loving care they gave to Roger during his illness.
