Robert Nave, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, 2019 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
He was born April 13, 1943 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Deforest and Carrie Opal Cline Nave.
Robert was a member of Ohio National Guard for six years. He was a farmer for all his life and a truck driver for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Sheila Nave, whom he married Nov. 2, 2013; brother, Jon (Twilla) Nave; nephew, Mark (Sandy) Nave; nieces, Susan (Jamie) Hauke and Karen Kretzer; cousin, James Cline; four stepchildren, Julie (John) Jacobs, Deron (Melissa) Johnson, Ginia (Lanny) Wells and Danielle (Greg) Hauke; and 11 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, James and George Nave.
Funeral services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow at Robert's home.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, 4-7 p.m.
