Robert Clayton Farrow, 82 of Leesburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at his home.
He was born Aug. 14, 1935 in Maysville, Ky., the son of the late Richard C. and Flora Bell (Sidwell) Farrow.
He retired from the United States Navy after a career that spanned 20 years.
On Aug. 6, 1997, in Sevierville Tenn., he married his wife, Zella (Stroop) Farrow, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Wesley (Tammy) Moore of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Wesley Jr. (Miranda Smith) Moore and Tiffany (fiancé Paul Burns) Moore, both of Hillsboro; and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Brentley Burns.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Tom Knauff and the Rev. Larry Spurlock will officiate. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
