Robert 'Bob' E. Roush

Robert “Bob” E. Roush, 94, of Pricetown, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born on March 8, 1921 in the Hollowtown community. He was the younger son of Oscar Ray Roush and Ollie Genevieve (Cornetet) Roush.
Bob spent his life working in real estate and as an auctioneer. He was a 1939 graduate of Buford High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on July 9, 1942 and was discharged on Oct. 19, 1945 after serving over two years in the South Pacific Theater.
He served for years as a deacon, elder, treasurer and chorister at the Pricetown Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Davis) Roush whom he married on April 25, 1990; two sons, Terry (Gloria) Roush of Pricetown and Tim (Linda) Roush of Mowrystown; five grandchildren, Becky (Darrin) Sanderson, J.R. (Dana) Roush, Brian Roush, Troy (Michelle) Roush and Angie (Travis) Bogart; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Roush) Durham of Independence, Ky.; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Roush of Hollowtown and Mary Ruth Barr of Pricetown; one stepson, Mike Davis; seven stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and numerous friends and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene (Barr) Roush, whom he married on Dec. 3, 1945, and she passed away on March 17, 1989; a brother, Clyde Roush; and a sister, Pearl (Roush) Custer.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Pricetown Church of Christ.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Leo Kuhn will be officiating. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the Barker Cemetery.
