Rhoda Esther Fugate, 92, of Covington, Ky., formerly of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Ky.
She was born April 18, 1930 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Ernest Herman and Stella Mitchell.
Rhoda was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union and retired from the U.S. Shoe Factory of Greenfield after approximately 40 years of employment.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Robison of Independence, Ky.; one son, Bruce (Sharon) Fugate of Wilmington; one granddaughter, Dierdra (Robert) Robison-Balza of Independence, Ky.; and two grandsons, David (Sara) Fugate of Troy and Matthew Fugate (Mary Kathryn Phillips) of Orlando, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leslie Fugate, on May 5, 1995; and both parents.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 26 at noon at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jay Fabin officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
