Raymond F. Chipperfield, 63, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his home.
He was born Sept. 28, 1952, in Reading, the son of the late Raymond Joseph I and Dorothy (Meiser) Chipperfield.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by four children, Drew Chipperfield of Greenfield, Valerie Chipperfield Ballinger of Reading, Raymond Joseph Chipperfield II and Ryan Chipperfield, both of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Haileigh and Aiden Ballinger; his former spouse, Linda Chipperfield of Lynchburg; six siblings, Pat, Jill, Fran, Bernie, Monica and Betsy; two special friends, Doug Creech and Sam Spicer; a special nephew, David Duncan; as well as additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie and Marlene.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 16 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Military honors will be presented by the Highland County Honor Guard at the funeral home following services. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.
