Randell Mack 'Randy' Scott

Randell Mack “Randy” Scott, 82, of Leesburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 at his home. 

He was born Nov. 7, 1941 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Mack and Mary (Eakins) Scott. 

Mr. Scott was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retired from General Motors after many years of service. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Tina Scott of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Carson Scott and Rylie Scott; and a sister, Rita Faris of Washington Court House. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Donna Mae (Phillips) Scott, who passed away Dec. 8, 2008; siblings Ronald (Ruth) Scott, Keith Scott, Kent (Kathrine) Scott, Kathleen (Irvin) Griffith and Karleen (Harold) Robison; and a brother-in-law, John Faris. 

A visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg, when a funeral service will begin. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
