Perry Lee Barnes

Perry Lee Barnes, 68, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at home.
 
He was born Oct. 3, 1954 in Greenfield, the son of Charlie and Eleanor (Jones) Barnes.
 
Perry retired from Greenfield Research after 40 years of employment and attended Christ Victory Church in Bloomingburg.
 
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Green) Barnes, whom he married Dec. 21, 1974; one daughter, Michelle (Floyd) Graham of Greenfield; one son, Michael Barnes of London; four grandchildren, Logan (Cheyenne) Graham, Kaitlyn Graham, Klarissa Graham and Haylee Barnes; one brother, Benny (Cindy) Barnes of Greenfield; one sister, Patty (Duane) Ross of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law, Kenneth Greene (Julianna Jackson) of Greenfield, Terry Sims of Frankfort and Gary Sims of Chillicothe; and special friend, Mike Penn of Greenfield.
 
He was preceded in death by both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Logan Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
