Peggy Rudy, 69, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 at The Laurels of Blanchester, surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 11, 1952 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Harry Herman Rudy Jr. and Mary Frances Rosher Rudy.
Peggy was a Wilmington High School graduate, class of 1970, and a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington. She retired from Airborne Express after 29 years of dedicated service. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her twin sister, Debra Kay (Alan) Mabry of Etna; three sisters, Gayla (Bill) Bonnell of Phoenix, Ariz., Sally Reese of Wilmington and Harriet (Don) May of Leesburg; brother, Douglas (Jamie) Rudy of Clarksville; six nephews, Brian Mabry, Matthew Bonnell, Kyle May, Ryan May, Scott May and Grant Rudy; two nieces, Krista Weida and Traci Bonnell; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dwight Reese.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St., Wilmington. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
