Pattie Jo Sanders, 49, of Hillsboro passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016 at her residence.
She was surrounded by her family who loves her dearly.
She was born Oct. 23, 1966 in Xenia, the daughter of Robert W. McGrew and Linda L. (Lare) McGrew Kidd.
Pattie became a member of the Marshall Church of Christ in 1981.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Chapter 441 Order of Eastern Star, the Hillsboro F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 1161, the Eagle Riders Group and she was awarded the 2016 Eagle Woman of the Year.
Pattie is survived by two children, Louci (John) Nichols of Cynthiana, Ky. and William Harley Sanders of Franklin Furnace; her mother, Linda McGrew Kidd of Hillsboro; granddaughter AnnaBelle Nichols; four siblings, Joyce (Rick) Rammel of Hillsboro, Shelly McGrew of Hillsboro, Lonnie (Denise) McGrew of Sabina and Robin (Jim) Knisley of Leesburg; a special friend, Gary Garvie of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pattie was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. McGrew.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, May 9 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory. Leo Kuhn will be officiating. A celebration of life will take place following visitation at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. Burial will be held at a later date in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
