Patricia "Pat" Christy, 76, of Mowrystown, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born Jan. 2, 1940 in Buford, the daughter of the late David Howe Louderback and Iva Mildred Mount Louderback.
Survivors include her husband, Danny Christy, whom she married Oct. 17, 1959; five children, Terry (Debbie) Christy of Hillsboro, Tammy (John) Raines of Buford, Tracey (Craig) Davidson of Hillsboro, Todd (Julie) Christy of Sugar Tree Ridge and Tim (Angie Caplinger) Christy of Sugar Tree Ridge; also surviving are eight grandchildren, Christy (Andy) Roberts, Adam (Kassady) Raines, Laura (Josh) Ward, James "J.D." Christy, Michael (Shauna) Davidson, Andrea (Ryan) Geddes, Jessica Christy, and Taryn Christy; four great-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; four sisters, Barbara (Glen) Bishop, Beverly Gall, Avonelle (Don) Crabtree and Nancy (Jack) Bainter; sister-in-law, Ann Donnelly; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Gertrude Matthews.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home in Mowrystown on Saturday, May 7 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Josh Books officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, May 6 from 5-8 p.m.
