Patricia L. Leach, 82, of Greenfield, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at her home.
She was born on March 6, 1934 in Ross County, the daughter of Alvin R. and Francis (Daly) Conaway, and was raised by loving foster parents, John and Anna Schmidt of South Salem.
She was retired from Clinton County MRDD, where she served as a caregiver, and was a 1952 graduate of Buckskin Valley High School.
She is survived by one son, James Leach and one daughter, Ginia Dove, both of Greenfield; grandchildren, Stephanie Decker, Michelle, Chenoa, Chase and Brandon Dove, Jessica, Joshua, Jeremy, John, Joey Aaron and Carol Leach; great-grandchildren, Autumn Difore, Alexandra and Gary Luck, Noah, Madelyn, Raina and Jaymon Dove, Madison Balon, Breana, Kendall, Marley and Delilah Dove; two brothers, George Dean Dreher and Terry Beechler; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Patricia’s caregivers, Jodi and Sherry with Adena Hospice.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard “Dick” Leach; one brother, Alvin “Al” Conaway; and both parents.
There will be no services observed.
