Patricia Jean O’Bryan, 90, of the Danville community, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022 at the Sycamore Glenn Health Care Center in Miamisburg.

She was born May 20, 1931 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Fred and Charlotte Hammer Ryne.

Patricia had provided child care in her home for several years. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ, the Ohio Farmers Union and the Whiteoak Valley Grange.

She is survived by two daughters, Louise (Calvert) Woolums of Dayton and Linda Rapp of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Courtney Rapp, Cory Rapp and Amanda Woolums; six great-grandchildren, Logan, Madison and Corbin Rapp and Christiana, Abigail and Benjamin Wandel; three sisters, Nancy (Bill) Heinrich, Barb Ross and Becky (Steve) Spisak, all of Dayton; and special friends, Nate, Kate and Lane Berry of Danville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. O’Bryan, on Jan. 7, 2010; and one sister, Kay Cole.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Danville Church of Christ. Darrin Sanderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Danville Church of Christ. The family has requested that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks be worn at all times.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville Church of Christ, 4917 S.R. 138, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
