Norma Jane Shoemaker, 84, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home.

She was born on May 17, 1936 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Conley) Taylor.

Norma worked in retail sales for many years and attended New Market Community Church.

She is survived by her children, Allen Shoemaker, Danny (Cindy) Shoemaker and Lori (Jeff) Wooton all of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Darin (Kay) Shoemaker of Pataskala, Cortney (Brad) Roades of Hillsboro, Seth (Kristina) Shoemaker of Hillsboro, Jacob Wooton of Pataskala and Ethan Shoemaker of Hillsboro; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Silas Shoemaker of Hillsboro; sibling, Pat Hall of Corbin, Ky.; daughter-in-law, Teresa Shoemaker of Hillsboro; nieces and nephews, Keri Hall-Roe, Teresa Hall both of Corbin, Ky., Kaitlyn Hollis of Clyde, RosaLeigh Hollis of Kentucky and Rick Hall of Texas; and special care giver, Amanda Duncan of Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Joe and Jim Taylor; two sisters, Mary Rush, Rosa Lee Taylor and both parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 15 in the New Market Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Karen Kemper officiating. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
