Norma Eula Van Dyke
Norma Eula Van Dyke, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, surrounded by her family, at the Court House Manor of Washington C.H.
She was born April 29, 1936 in Ross County, the daughter of John D. and Maggie (Tillett) Palmer.
Norma was a homemaker and babysat many children from her home. She was a former member of the Greenfield Church of Christ and employee of Tucker’s Restaurant.
She is survived by three sons, Jim (Merleen) Van Dyke of Greenfield, Jerry (Jolinda) Van Dyke of Washington C.H. and Scott (Tammy) Van Dyke of Greenfield; one daughter, Cindy (Bill) McNeal of Leesburg; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Tucker of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Katy Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Myron Van Dyke, on March 18, 2018; two brothers, Russell Palmer and Gerald Palmer; four sisters, Helen Funk, Marie Hunter, Mona Shoemaker and Rita Stauffer; and both parents.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
