She was born Sept. 12, 1930 in Seaman, the daughter of Wylie and Addie (Vincent) Carrigan.

Nellie enjoyed music, sewing, needlework, cooking and collecting antiques. She traveled all over the country to dog shows with her daughter and son-in-law and occasionally attended a small-bore rifle match to watch her daughter compete.

She is survived by a daughter, Chris Ellen (Williamson) Rakyta and son-in-law, Ivan David Rakyta; daughter-in-law, Joan Leslie (Smith) Williamson; and numerous nieces and nephews, both great- and great-great.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Weaver McCreight Williamson; a son, Mack Glenn Williamson; brothers, Ronald Dean Carrigan, George Harrison Carrigan and Bruce Carrigan; and sister, Martha Helen Snider.

She had a long, full life and in her last years proclaimed, “I’ve enjoyed my life. What a blessing!"

The family would like to thank caregiver Robyn Rinehart for her genuine love and care for many years and dear friend, Danny Brown.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Jan. 27 at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro, followed by services.
