Nancy Sue Tholen

Nancy Sue Tholen, 63, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the VITAS Inpatient Hospice Care at The Drake Center in Cincinnati.
She was born April 13, 1952 in Carmel, the daughter of the late Kenner and Beatrice Hall Gipson.
Mrs. Tholen had been a sales representative for Time Warner Cable Company and was a member of the VFW 9094 Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Tholen, whom she had married in 1989, two children, Christy Dawn (Scott) Hacker of Hillsboro and Gregory Scott (Robin) Tholen of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Shianne Dawn (Curtis) Lister, Autumn Rose Hacker, Mariah Lynn Nicols, Hunter Hacker and Reagan Laylah Tholen; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fay E. (Connie) Gibson of Hillsboro and David Daniel (Kelly Meece) Gipson of Hillsboro; and one sister, Victoria (David Streber) Ward of Rainsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenner Jacob (Jake) Nichols.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 29 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Tom Stoops will officiate. Burial will follow in the Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
