Micheal Wayne “Mick” Parks, 79, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024 at his home.  

He was born Jan. 20, 1945 in Bonny Blue, Va., the son of the late Charles Lee and Helen (Woods) Parks.  

He graduated from the Berean Bible College. For many years as a minister, he touched many lives.  

Mick is survived by his wife, Pam (Blosser) Parks; his mother-in-law, Barbara Stewart of New Carlisle; four children, Shari Lee Rowe of Tipp City, Nola Michelle Lutz of Greenville, Angela Katherine (William R.) Coonrod and James Everett (Felicia Dawn) Parks, both of Hillsboro; a daughter-in-law, Jessica Lynn Parks of Piqua; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Bobbie Sue Preston of Wilmington; a brother, Charles (Betty) Parks of Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Tammy (Stewart) Miller of New Carlisle; special friends, Terry and Nancy Sullivan of Hillsboro; as well as many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Wayne Parks; and a brother, Willard Paul Parks.  

In keeping with his wishes, private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
