Michael “Mick” Griffith, 61, of Lynchburg passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 at his home.
He was born April 26, 1956 in Clinton County, the son of the late Toni E. Griffith and Bertha Jane (Smithson) Shaw.
Mick retired after working 28 years at R+L Carriers and he also was a farmer. He was a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors and loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Mick is survived by two children, Brad (Beth) Griffith of Lynchburg and Brandi (Jason) Stepp of Columbus; five grandchildren, Autumn Griffith, Brya McClain, Baylee McClain, Brystal McClain and Oliver Griffith; two siblings, Melanie (David) Seaman of New Vienna and Marty (Dana) Griffith of Honey Grove, Texas; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Pfister of Hillsboro and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark W. Griffith and Toni E. Griffith II.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Daryl Mount will be officiating. Burial will follow services in the Harwood Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 1.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pricetown Church of Christ, 2070 S.R. 131, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
