Mary Lou McKinley, 83, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1933 in Brown County, the daughter of the late Rolland R. Hauke and Ruth Carolyn Hedrick Hauke.
Mary Lou attended Fairview Church in Georgetown. She was the fiscal officer of Scott Township for 12 years, and was a member of the Sardinia American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Willard McKinley of Georgetown, whom she married June 5, 1954; son, Dr. Tim (Shawna) McKinley of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Christopher (Allison) McKinley, Marissa (Nick) McKinley, Rebekah McKinley and Josh McKinley; a great-grandson, Lyle McKinley; a brother, Richard (Arlene) Hauke of Sardinia; a sister, Ruth Anne (Wayne) Ferguson of Sardinia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerald "Ike" and Bea Hauke; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joe and Mary Lee McKinley; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Louise Walker.
Services will be held at Mt. Orab Church of Christ, Thursday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m., with Pastors Joe Strunk and Lee Shafer officiating. Interment will follow in the Confidence Cemetery, Georgetown.
Friends will be received at the Mt. Orab Church of Christ, Thursday, Dec. 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
