Mary Lou Burns, 77, of Sardinia, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mercy Health in Mount Orab.
She was born Jan. 14, 1944 in Hamilton County, the daughter of the late Robert Hillard and Ruth Williams Hillard.
She was the head cook at the Sardinia Elementary School for over 26 years.
Surviving are her husband, Bob Burns, whom she married Sept. 16, 1960; four children, Lisa (Leon) Lacey, Johnny (Tracy) Burns, Diane (Monty) Fairley and Kelly Burns; a special aunt, Mabel Conley; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Fincastle Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
