Mary Levo, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at the Mason Health Care Center.
She was born in Wilmington on Dec. 15, 1932, the daughter of the late Seibert and Mozelle (Hodson) Babb.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Levo, on June 19, 2015; and a nephew, Rich Levo.
Mary graduated from Wilmington High School in 1951, attended the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, was a florist at Jean’s Flowers in Hillsboro and Swindler’s in Wilmington, bookkeeper at Hillcrest in Hillsboro, and won many awards for her flowers at the Highland County Fair. She was a charter member of the Highland Amateur Radio Association, was a member of Southern Ohio Genealogical Association and the Clinton County Amateur Radio Association and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger A. and Linda A. Levo of Lebanon; one nephew, John Levo (Kathy) of Hillsboro; five nieces, Barbara Levo-Randolph (Tom) of Texas, Beverly Levo-Kendall (Jim) of Texas, Linda Levo-White (Scott) of North Carolina, Julie Levo-Tunderman (Tom) of Connecticut and Becky Levo-Schmidt (Mike) of Wisconsin; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 2 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
