Mary Alice Kendall

Mary Alice Kendall, 82, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia.
  
She was born Nov. 16, 1942 in Winchester, the daughter of the late Harry Elmer and Kathryn Imogene (Wasson) Jones.

Mary had worked as a nurse for Miami Valley Hospital and was a member of New Antioch Church of Christ.
 
Surviving are her brothers, Tom Jones of Reesville and John Jones of Lees Creek; sisters, Sarah Mathews of Sabina, Patricia Smith of Winter Haven, Fla., Elizabeth Ann Dock of Piqua, Wanda Budwine of Albuquerque, N.M. and Doris Bohn of Leesburg; an uncle, Jim Wasson, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wayne Kendall; brothers, Elmer, Frank and Charles Jones; and sister, Judith Harris.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at Shelter B, Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, with Pastor Sid Clay officiating. Please meet in the funeral procession line for Shelter B at 9:50 a.m.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
