Mark E. Anderson

Mark E. Anderson, 57, of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1958 in Columbus to David E. and Lucy Bills Anderson of Bainbridge.
Mark was a barber for over 30 years and was the owner and operator of Mark’s Barber Shop in Bainbridge. He was a Paint Valley bus driver for 25 years and served as a Paxton Township Trustee for many years. Mark belonged to the Bainbridge Lodge 196 Free & Accepted Masons and was a past member of the Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Department.
Mark was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan who supported his teams no matter what. He also had several hobbies: he enjoyed drag racing, riding his motorcycle, gardening and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé Kim Baker; his children, Ethan Baker and BJ Cross, both of Bainbridge and Mandy Rawlins of Rainsboro; grandson, Deegan Brown; sister, Kelli Anderson of Parkersburg, W.Va.; brother, Steve (Annette) Anderson of Columbus; niece, Maya; nephew, Alex; numerous friends; and his buddy Gus.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Bainbridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Brookes officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Mark’s family on Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. or 5-8 p.m. at the Church.
