Marion R. Osborn, 89, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehab Center.  
 
He was born April 29, 1933 in Harveysburg, the son of the late Morris Osborn and Florence Grace Harvey Osborn.
 
Marion attended church at the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and had retired as the highway superintendent with the Clinton County Highway Department after 29 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
 
Surviving are his wife, Betty L. Osborn, whom he married Aug. 16, 2014; granddaughter, Bethany (James) Davis of North Carolina; two great-granddaughters, Kingsley and Keegan Davis; two stepdaughters, Vanessa Hall of Wilmington and Melody (Monte) Long of Monroe; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Jones of Cincinnati, Bradley (Jennifer) Burgel of Luling, La. and Adam Long of Cincinnati; four step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Andrew Jones and Landen and Brianna Burgel; and several nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Sims; and several sisters and brothers.
 
Services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
 
Friends will be received Thursday, June 2, 2022 from noon - 1 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
 
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Care Hospice, 1669 Rombach Ave., Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
