Marilyn B. Whitamore, 93, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Wilmington.
She was born Nov. 28, 1928 in Hamburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Garfield Sink and Maude B. Chellis Sink.
She was a former member of Clinton County Senior Center and had worked as a nurses aide at Clinton Memorial Hospital for many years.
Surviving are her two daughters, Linda (Randy) Moore of Wilmington and Connie (Mike) Nielsen of Crescent City, Fla.; five grandchildren, Sheila (Jody) Hayslip, Karyn (Bob) Detty, Michael (Renea) Moore, Eddie Whitamore and Joey Whitamore; sister, Virginia Ann Leib of Cocoa, Fla.; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, E.J. Whitamore; one sister; and eight brothers.
Services will be held Friday April 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with Pastor Philip Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami-Corwin Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
