Margaret Elizabeth Peters, 77, of the Fairfax community, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023 at The Monarch Meadows in Seaman.
She was born June 16, 1945 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Henry and Lucille Moore.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived in the Fairfax community for over 50 years. Margaret retired from Heartland Nursing Home, where she was a nurse's aide for 35 years. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Rebecca Michael of Hillsboro; grandson, Tony (Shelby) Michael Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Marieah, Laine, Harlan and Winona; and four sisters, Mary Daniels, Bonnie Smith, Beverly Rose and Janet Davis.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, David "Gabby" Michael; third husband, Larry Peters; brother, Harold Moore; and a sister, Lorene Gash.
A special thank-you to her second husband, Howard Beatty, and his grandson, Danny Boles, for taking such good care of her over the past six years.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfax Cemetery, Hillsboro.
Friends will be received Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
