Maralynn was born in Wellston, Ohio on April 20, 1947.
She spent the majority of her early life in Hillsboro. She moved to Midlothian, Va. in 1985, where she spent the remainder of her life.
She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1965. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working puzzles. Maralynn held accounting positions in several companies specializing in payroll accounting.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Twining; sister, Alberta Staten Kelley; nieces, Becky Bailey, Trinette Mackey and Stephanie Wilson; and nephew, Timothy Charles.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Staten Charles; and brother, Rick Harvey.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10.
Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park at 3 p.m.
