Lynn Swearingen, 63, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.  
 
She was born Sept. 24, 1954 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late James Edward and Omeda Elizabeth (Caudell) Wallace.
 
Lynn worked as a nursing assistant in the Clinton County area for several years. She was also a member of the Beechgrove Baptist Church.
 
On June 15, 1985, she married Lee Swearingen, who survives.

In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her sons, Danny (Angie) Pagett and Scott (Teresa) Pagett; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy (Debbie) Wallace and Clarence Wallace; sister, Judy Pauley; mother-in-law, Rosalie Swearingen; brother-in-law, John (Tammy) Swearingen; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Sproull and Christine (Donnie) Webster; and many nieces and nephews.
 
Besides her parents,  Lynn was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Pagett; three brothers, Billie Wallace, Frank Wallace and Virgil Wallace; two grandsons, Kyle Pagett and Brenton Pagett; and two brothers-in-law, Gene Swearingen and Gary Sproull.
 
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Joe Pinkerton officiating. Interment will follow in the West Chapel Cemetery.
 
Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
