She was born in Lynchburg on June 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ruby (Martin) Stubbs.
LuAnne is survived by her husband, Laverne Holbrook, whom she married June 8, 1952; daughter, Jeanie (Daryl) Fauber of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jon (Jana) Holbrook of Lynchburg, Megan (Alan Blackburn) Brault of Lynchburg, Craig (Morgan) Fauber of Hillsboro and Kyle (Octavia) Fauber of Leesburg; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Mason, Karsyn, Mallory, Carter, Kelley, Makenna, Miley, Claire and Oakley; brother, Charles Stubbs of Hillsboro; sister, Sandra Jones of Lynchburg; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Holbrook of Lynchburg.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jeff Holbrook; and sister, Peggy Stubbs.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Union Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call from Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at the church.
