Louise Brummett, 79, of Sardinia, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1937 in Harlan, Ky., the daughter of the late Ben Trosper and Alfie Cottle Trosper.
She was a member of the East Danville Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Brummett, whom she married Aug.18, 1956; daughter, Betty Lou Hensley of Mt. Orab; son, Leroy Brummett of Harrogate, Tenn., son, Junior Brummett of Ripley; eight grandchildren, Christina Louise Hensley, Kayla Sue Hensley, Shane Lee Brummett, Julia Ann Coleman, Bailey Katlin Madison Hensley, Jessie Brummett, Tiffany Brummett, and Samantha Brummett; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Arvis Trosper.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Thursday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ed Stout officiating. Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, on Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 6-8 p.m.
