Louellen J. (Kennedy) Ruble, 82, passed away on Sept. 6, 2016 in Bullhead City, Ariz., where she had resided for the last 10 years.

She was born Sept. 2, 1934 in Bainbridge and lived in New Petersburg, Ohio, the daughter of Jack & Catherine (Everhart) Kennedy, who preceded her in death.

Moving to California was her lifelong dream. In 1959, she settled in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and for many years she worked in the film industry and raised her six children. She never met a stranger and was loved by all.

She is survived by her daughters Gail McMurray (Jim) Alexander of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Debbie McMurray (Jerry) Bowman of Columbus, Dianah Boatman of Roy, Utah, Leisa Byrd (AI) Batchie of Hollywood, Fla. and son Luke Byrd (Michelle Maropoulos) of Bullhead City, Ariz.; her sister, Joan Snyder of New Petersburg; aunt, Elsa Dasbach of Sarasota, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, along with many friends from all over. She will be missed greatly but know she will always live in the hearts of the ones she left behind.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry B. Boatman; granddaughter, Leigh Marie McMurray, brother-in-law, Junior Snyder; and nephews Brian & Rick Snyder of New Petersburg.
