Linda Lou Vick Bowman, 71 of Hillsboro, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Friday, Oct 22, 2021.
She was born July 28, 1950, in Ary, Ky., the daughter of the late Walton Samuel and Iva (Napier) Vick.
Since 1988, with her husband Bill, she was co-founder and co-pastor of New Life Church and Ministries.
Linda spent her life serving her family, the Lord, her church, and her community.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William A. “Bill” Bowman, whom she married on Sept. 17, 1977 in Centerville; her daughter and only child, Victoria Bowman-Ellen, and her husband, Daniel, of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Ryland Samuel Bowman-Ellen and Mercedes Grace Bowman-Ellen, both of Wilmington; as well as all of her extended family, church family and countless friends.
In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Linda’s memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
