Linda Carol Soldano, 66, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 2, 1954 in Sloan Valley, Ky., the daughter of the late Lestie New.
Linda and her husband, Corey, attended the St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro. She enjoyed going to her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Corey, whom she married July 6, 1985; four children, Jason Porter of Peebles, Jared “Jed” (Alisha) Porter of Peebles, Brandy (Vince) Pitzer of Lynchburg and Becky (Chad) McConnaughey of Lynchburg; 11 grandchildren, Tyler Porter, Jaiden Porter, Zane Porter, Celine Porter, Drew Pitzer, Abby Pitzer, Trey Pitzer, Hayley McConnaughey, Ethan McConnaughey, Will McConnaughey and Tate McConnaughey; three sisters, Cillis Campbell of Gaston, Ind., Dorothy Bradshaw of Burnside, Ky. and Maudie Helton of Somerset, Ky.; a brother, Billy (Janice) New of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by ten siblings.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service and burial will be held in Kentucky at a later date at the convenience of the family.
